Accreditations and Awards

Diamond Status from NHRA

In April 2021, the Manama main branch and the satellite branches in Saar and Amwaj Islands have been awarded the ‘Diamond Status’, once again, by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) of Bahrain. It is the highest level of accreditation given to hospitals by NHRA.

In July 2024, the newly opened King Hamad American Mission Hospital, A'Ali, also received a diamond status accreditation. After one year of its opening, this awarding was celebrated by the hospital staff in a special event.

This accreditation is generally awarded, once every three years, after the processes and systems of healthcare facilities are thoroughly checked and assessed. It was a re-affirmation of the status awarded in 2017, for all the three locations.

CAP Accreditation
